A New IoT Service is Born

CrossPoint brings synergy between you and your family member's phones, and other smart devices like your Alexa, security sensors and lights. Our team was fully responsible for bringing our Client's vision to fruition, taking the high level goals we were given to define and deliver all aspects of the product.

Product Design

We designed the logos, branding, iconography and user interface to create an iOS/Web App frontend which provide an easy-to-use interface to the most powerful IoT device integration service available.

Modern Back End

At the heart of the product is a powerful server, created using Golang, that is highly multithreaded, scalable, secure and easy to work with due to a highly decoupled, service-based design with automated integration testing.

Automation Engine

The back end's custom rule engine bridges the gap between simple and hard. It can target any IoT device and platform problem and turns your smart devices from toys to essential parts of your family security, peace of mind and quality of life. The rule engine is far more powerful than existing products, with conditional nesting, GPS conditions, and more. Yet it can be configured without any special technical background.

Geofencing

Custom map locations work with your devices to do anything you want, for example turn your lights on when you arrive home or notify you when your kids leave school.

Natural Language Processing

Among the many components within the automation engine is a custom Natural Language Processor that is used by our Voice Assistant platforms. It integrates with the whole system allowing commands and questions like "Alexa, tell CrossPoint to open my garage" and "Alexa, tell me where my child went today".

Platform Integrations

The platform system allows devices from your phone to work seamlessly together with Amazon Alexa, Google Home Echo, Philips Hue, Wink, Insteon and even Tesla. All via an easily extendable platform service.
